The NAFL (Semi-pro League)Edit

The NAFL is a semi-pro, beginners' league in Pigskin Empire. The league was set up to give new coaches a chance to learn the basics of the game. Unlike the EFL and College leagues, coaches who apply to a position at any NAFL team will receive an immediate offer so that they can begin playing and learning right away. If you're ready to start getting competitive about the game it is recommended that you join a EFL or college team with an experienced coach who will teach you. However, if the independence of head coaching is right for you, the NAFL is a great place to start learning.

Differences Between NAFL and EFLEdit

Along with the previously mentioned differences, there are a few minor differences between the leagues. In the NAFL the head coaches have more limited abilities. There are no awards in the league, no historic stats or games on ESN-Classic. However, occasionally, an NAFL player wins an EFL award (Robert Malinowski won the playoff MVP award for 2023). This is considered to be a glitch though.

Coaches in the NAFL are currently limited to 2 seasons in the league. Your contract will not be renewed if you have reached the limit.
